Some of my best childhood memories include our family visits to Frankfort for nine days during the summers of our youth. We would stay with Aunt Charlotte, Uncle Tony, Keith, Timmy, and Grandma VanDusen. We shared countless conversations and laughs around the dinner table.
My sisters & I would go to the Frankfort Pool with Uncle Johnny's daughters, Jackie and Maureen. One year we visited one of the many forts in upstate NY and also Niagara Falls.
A specific memory which I have of Uncle Bobbie and Aunt Roz was in the 1960's when Uncle Bob opened his garage door and placed a very long table donned with a red checkered table cloth. Aunt Roz brought out the biggest bowl that I had ever seen, filled with luscious spaghetti & meatballs. Uncle Bob & Aunt Roz fed eleven people around that table including their beautiful young children. Aunt Roz was a great cook and & she & Uncle Bob were gracious people. Love and prayers, Always, to the whole family, niece Audie, (Dolores & Nickie & Dakota & Sawyer)

My heart goes out to the VanDusen family at this sad time. Mr. VanDusen was a great man to so many. He helped me get my first job and my children's as well. He did so much for our community and was so respected. I'm a classmate of his son's (Robert VanDusen), and he was a good friend to me. My Dad, Tex Caivana, was a great friend of his. I am so very sorry. May He RIP

Becky and Family - so sad to read this. My memory of Bob will always be what a special, kind and loving man he was. I will always remember being taken under his wing when we worked at Frederichs together. Whatever the problem, he was there to help and guide - a loving father figure who knew how to bring a smile to your face! Love, hugs, and prayers. Diana Green

Sending love to Valerie, Becky, John, Aunt Charlotte, Uncle Tony, Keith and Tim. I'm remembering all of the wonderful visits we had as kids when we would make the drive up to Frankfort from Indiana. We were always welcomed with open arms. Later, Dave and I were lucky enough to visit Uncle Bob and Aunt Ros in Florida. Sending hugs your way. May your memories keep him always in your heart.
Love, Cousin Lynn, and Dave, Rachel and Sarah

Uncle John, Uncle George, My mom, Uncle Joe, Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Bob...I'm guessing early 1970s. A rare photo of all of the siblings together. I remember how much my mom loved having this photo! Missing all of our family who have passed.

Can’t count how many great memories of time spent together. Uncle Bob is still some one I always admired for his dedication to his family and his integrity. I hope the memory of what a good man he was helps at this time of loss.
