To the Hulbert girls, Theresa, Paula and Frances,
When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.
Hold on to those memories deep in your heart and Dennise will always be with you.
She is free from pain now and reunited with her dear sister June, brother Roy Jr, and your beloved father.
Francis,
The last time I saw you you were about 3 weeks old and I was feeding you a bottle in your Mom's apt in Cliffside Park NJ. Your Mom kept saying to me, be sure she does not choke and then when I was burping you she kept saying be sure she can breath, her face is in your shirt. She was so worried about you and then you burped some goo on me and fell asleep! I can laugh now! I got your Mom a 50 dollar 1965 Buick LeSabre and she and you were off and running the streets of New Jersey and Rockland County NY. You were well traveled as a baby. Now you have kids of your own. Time has passed ever so quickly.
Paula,
Love you always, miss our chats! You made your parents proud. You have a beautiful family.
Theresa,
I see your kids are all grown up, it seems like yesterday you were moving Upstate New York. I told your Dad that Country living 160 miles away from Waldwick would be a great place to raise a family. He went up a few times 40- 50 miles or so and the area was congested and expensive. I said, I know this area that is scenic year round and less than 3 hours away and off we went and the 3rd house we looked at he said this is it! SOLD!
Now you and your family are all up there and I am not but I can still find my way from Jersey to the Canadian border taking the back roads. One day I will make a trip up there and see how much has changed. When I lived there in the 1980's there was not even a Walmart. Your Mom and Dad would be so proud of how you raised your kids. The pictures on facebook are beautiful. Hang in there, you have been through a lot recently but God above will watch over you.
