Obituary of Gregory Thomas Viscomi

Gregory (Gregg) Viscomi passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29th, 2022, at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife Diane Viscomi, son Thomas (Christine) Viscomi, daughter Tedra (Jason) Courtis, and son Ryan (Jennifer) Viscomi, along with five grandchildren, Max Courtis, Ellie Courtis, Makena Viscomi, Mason Viscomi, and Rocco Viscomi. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernie and Minnie Viscomi. Gregg was born June 19, 1948 in Herkimer, NY. He met Diane, née Huisinga, in 1969. They were married in Minnesota May 27, 1972. In 1977, Tom and Tedra were born in Herkimer, NY. A few years later, they moved to Rosemont, MN where Ryan was born in 1980. They relocated to St. Charles, MO in 1984. Gregg held several jobs before retiring, and during retirement enjoyed working at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis. He was on the Parish Council and was an active and devoted member in faith at St. Cletus Church. Gregg was known for his humor and silliness with all his grandchildren, which created special bonds with each one of them. He loved the casino, boating on the river, “fixing” things, and always would come when called “in a minute”. He was truly well loved by all that knew him, and most of all, he deeply loved his family who he treasured. He will be extremely missed by many friends and family. Gregg’s visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM at the St. Cletus Catholic Church, 2705 Zumbehl Road, St. Charles MO 63301. His Funeral Mass will commence at the church at 11:00AM immediately upon the conclusion of visitation. Gregg’s Funeral Mass can be viewed on Zoom.
