Obituary of Jennifer Ingrassia

ST. JOHNSVILLE – Jennifer Ingrassia, 58 years old, of St. Johnsville, NY, passed away peacefully, very early on Thursday morning, October 6, 2022, at her home on Cromer Road, always surrounded by her close friends and care givers. Jennifer was born on July 6, 1964. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our very dear Jennifer Ingrassia. Jenn had been battling cancer for a few years and sadly the progression of her cancer was no longer responsive to treatment. Those who were closest to Jenn are going to miss her immensely. She was a bright light in the eyes of those who loved her and her absence will leave a hole in everyone’s hearts. Jenn became part of our Lexington family in 2004, joining her family at Cromer Road and Oppenheim Day Hab. She was a very beautiful and kind woman who gave her cancer a valiant fight. She was a petite woman with a very strong soul. Though Jenn did not speak with words, she was able to communicate with her family, who always knew what she was saying to them. Jenn was a very giving woman who enjoyed helping out with animals including helping to make and deliver treats to local animal shelters. She enjoyed doing craft activities and fairly recently had started to do some painting which she seemed to be something she really enjoyed. Jenn loved anything that was a soft and cozy feeling, a reflection of her gentle and sweet personality that made everyone around her feel at ease. We know this is such a difficult time for all of you. We are truly grateful for the love and compassion shown to Jenn, especially in the past few months. We can be sure that she truly appreciated what each of you did for her. We are blessed to have had so many years with such a beautiful woman like Jenn. Our deepest sympathy to her Lexington family. You are such wonderful and loving people. Friends of Jenn are invited to a Graveside Memorial Service in her honor. This will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at the Dolgeville Cemetery, 125 West State Street, Dolgeville, NY 13329. The Rev. Michael Torres will grace us with his inspirational message of faith and support. Arrangements have been handled compassionately by our friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street, in St. Johnsville, New York, Funeral Directors Harry J. Enea, Jr., Kevin E. Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia (518) 568-2300.
