We were away last week and we just read Owen's obituary in the paper. We are so sorry to hear about Owen's passing He was such a sweet neighbor always having nice chats over our fences. He will be sadly missed in our neighborhood. I know he missed Gail so much so itust have been a tough couple of months. We would have attended his memorial if we hadn't been away Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May his love and stories always be with you Katie and Bruce Schwabach

Owen was our neighbor for the last 18 years. He was smiling and quick to greet us shortly after we moved in. We soon learned we had some things in common, and he even new my father from Remington. Every now and then, I would be looking for my husband and find him and Owen chatting outside-each leaning on their own deck. I will miss seeing his smile, hearing his greetings, and seeing him. He will definitely be missed by us! Prayers for comfort during this difficult time to all his family. It’s bitter sweet to know he has left this earth, but wonderful to be reminded he is reunited with Gail.

I will miss uncle jr deeply I have a lot of special memories with him. All of our camping trips with aunt Gail and aunt barb up in old forge. The hiking trips we had. Especially the hike up bald mountain. It took us a while but it was truly worth it. Fishing on nicks lake. Driving all the way to ft drum just so he could show me the different vehicles they used. The many times we went hunting together. Never shot anything but we had the time of our lives. Car shows. Or just sitting around chatting. I could go on and on. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories uncle jr. I love you.
