I am deeply saddened over the loss of my dear friend, Carol. I still smile so endearingly with my thoughts and memories of our many years of a truly precious friendship. I can never express how dear Carol and her family are to my family. I have so many fun memories of all the good times we had. We met in 1960 when my Joe and her Richard were freshmen at LeMoyne. They both gave us so much joy. I know Joe considered Rich his very best friend. Carol’s passing is a terrible loss for the whole Miller’s Mills community.

Although I have not seen Carol for a few years, I cannot help to reflect on her winning smile, personality and heart. From my first business venture, to my now decades long real estate career, Carol’s smile, enthusiasm and infectious laugh will stay with me for life. I’m very sorry for your loss. Hugs and prayers. Carol was so loving and always enthusiastic. I remember fondly a few Labor Day weekends with Jerry Lewis telethon on in the background. So many fun gatherings in millers Mill. She always made me feel welcomed . When my Dad ( Joe Root) was sick in the hospital in Florida, she & Richard came & picked me up in the middle of the night, always there for us if we needed. I’m honored to have known & loved her.

Dear Richard, Katie, Steve, and Cousins,
We are all morning the loss of our dear beloved Cousin Carol and I feel home will never be the same again without her. Her laughter and enthusiasm for life was contagious. She could always make me laugh and smile when I was around her, and she had a bubbly personality. She made you feel so loved in such a special way like nobody else could, and Carol's last words to me were nothing but love and gratitude for me.
I know more than anything she would want you to go on in life to love as she has done for you and our hearts are with you. We are all thinking of you, especially you Richard. We are all praying for you right now, and you are never far from our thoughts and prayers.
