Obituary of Gloria A. Ciociola

LITTLE FALLS – We are truly sorry to share the news that Gloria Ciociola, passed away Tuesday morning, August 16, 2022, at the age of 89, at Sitrin Health Care Center, in New Hartford, New York. She passed away peacefully with the love and support of her family. She was born on June 5, 1933, Gloria Tretola, in St. Johnsville, New York, the daughter of the late Hannibal and Estella Tretola. She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. Gloria was predeceased in 2007, by her husband of 53 years, Arthur Anthony Ciociola; and survived by her son, Arthur Ciociola, Jr., and Lynn, of Texas; two daughters, Congetta Carrig and husband, Dan, of Mohawk and Corinne Baker and husband, Alan, of Manlius; grandchildren, Chad and Sean Carrig, Eric and Ryan Baker and Michael and Elizabeth Ciociola; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gloria enjoyed bowling, ceramics and knitting. She had her own style for creating blankets with mixed colors and patterns. Everyone who Gloria knew loved her dearly as she did them. Gloria was not afraid to share her feelings for her family. Gloria was truly an incredible person who brought joy to the lives of all who knew her. Our heartfelt thanks to all the Sitrin staff, who have been so supportive to Gloria over the years, especially to those at her side, reassuring her of your care and love. You are all truly such special people. Gloria was deeply appreciative of all of you. In respecting of her wishes, there are no public calling hours and Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family, in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer, with assistance by the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, in Little Falls.
