Obituary of Gary Mattison

UTICA – Gary Mattison, age 68, a longtime Ilion resident, and currently of Utica, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 at the MVHS St. Luke’s Campus. Born on June 1, 1954, Gary was the son of the late Richard and Mary (Sudakow) Mattison. He was raised in Ilion and received his education there. He is survived by his brother, Craig Mattison; his niece, Sandra Ham and her husband, Jasper, of Mohawk; along with several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Richard Mattison and Mark Mattison; and his sister-in-law, Virginia Mattison.
