Obituary of Diane M. Neale

MOHAWK - Diane Neale (Dennis), 59, of the Mohawk Homestead, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in the Town of New Hartford, New York. She was born on July 31, 1962, in Little Falls, New York, a daughter of the late William C. and Barbara (Billings) Dennis, Sr., having received her education in schools there. She married her husband, William L. Neale III (deceased). They wed April 18, 1987. She was blessed with children: Steven Guyer, (deceased), Emily Neale (deceased), Rebecca Neale, (deceased); and surviving, Jessica (Jeremy) LaFountain (Neale), of Bridgewater and Savannah Dennis, of Bridgewater; as well as grandchildren: Jace William (deceased) and surviving, Jack LaFountain; her siblings: Christina (Keith) Blum, of Herkimer, Harold Dennis, of Little Falls, Brian (Kelly) Dennis, of Ilion, Coreen Ketchum, of Maryland, Brenda (Robert) Looman, of Dolgeville and Kenneth Dennis, of Ohio (state). Additional predeceased family include, Carl Dennis Sr. (brother), William Jesse Dennis (brother), Carol Showerman (sister), Richard Dennis (brother), Robert Dennis (brother) and William C. Dennis (brother). Diane is also survived by her best friend, Janie Leavitt, of Herkimer; special nieces, Karen Haynes and Niccole Kenniston; special nephew, Tommy Rogers; and special great-nephews, Tylor Kenniston, Karson Stiles, Ethan Cress and Xander Kenniston. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, in Ilion, New York, on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Her Funeral Prayer will be celebrated thereafter at the funeral home, concluding at 1:15 p.m. Interment will take place at a later time convenient to her family, at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, New York. Arrangements have been coordinated with family friends, Harry J. Enea, Jr., Kevin E. Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia (315) 894-8000.
