Obituary of Terissa Lynn Cosar

FRANKFORT – Terissa Lynn Cosar, 39, of Frankfort-Schuyler, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at MVHS, Faxton-St. Luke’s Campus, Town of New Hartford, New York. Her sudden passing occurred as a result of a brief illness, pulmonary issues. She was born July 18, 1982, in Amsterdam, New York, the daughter of Rose (Greco) Nazarian and the late Mustafa Cosar and was a graduate of Little Falls High School. She currently was a Certified Nurse Assistant at St. Luke’s Home. This work environment was a true testament to the caring person that she was as she just loved taking care of people. Her and her family had lived in the St. Johnsville area for some time. Her car was her baby, AKA ‘Black Beauty.’ She loved to go camping and dressing up and going out. We will always remember what she was most known for, her famous line, “How you doin?!” In her fun and bubbly way, Terissa would refer to herself as ‘Terissa Baby’ and even ‘TLC!’ She was quite simply just the most amazing person in our lives. She was a social butterfly, always the life of the party. She would have done anything for anyone. She always had a smile on her face. Survivors include her beloved family who deeply cherished her: her mother, Rose Nazarian; her brother, Mustafa “Mike” Cosar; her sister-in-law, Nicole Cosar; her twin nephews, Blake and Mason Cosar; her half-sisters, Serap Bektas, Sahar Cosar and Julie Cosar; her aunt, Judith Jaikin; her great-aunt, Judith Greco and her family; her uncles, Joseph Greco, Lawrence Greco (Terissa’s Godfather) and Earl Greco; and so many dear cousins, friends and co-workers. She was predeceased by her father, Mustafa Cosar; her stepfather, Hank Nazarian and his son, Timothy; her uncle, John Jaikin; her grandmother, Marilyn; and grandfather, Peter. Funeral Services will be held at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, New York (Town of Frankfort), whereas we invite friends and relatives to call at the funeral home on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 2-4 p.m., followed by a brief Catholic Prayer Service. All funeral arrangements for Terissa have been entrusted to the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, New York (Town of Frankfort), Funeral Directors Harry J. Enea, Jr., Kevin E.
