LTTLE FALLS - Molly Grau, 96, a longtime resident of Loomis Street, Little Falls passed away on Thursday March 29, 2018 at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing.

She was born on September 30, 1921 in Little Falls, NY, a daughter of the late John and Eva (Michaluk) Anderson (Andryiszyn). Her marriage to Francis J. “Sonny” Grau took place on June 19, 1943 at St. Mary's Church in Little Falls. Mr. Grau passed away on December 13, 2004. For a considerable amount of years, Molly was employed at several Little Falls dress factories. Mrs. Grau was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church. She used her knowledge of sewing and dress making skills and when retired would sew and crochet articles for friends, family and charities alike. Molly and Sonny spent many hours together tending to their vegetable and flower gardens. During her stay at Alpine, Molly enjoyed Watercolor painting and even won an honorable mention for one of her paintings which in turn made the front page of the Observer Dispatch along with her photo!

Survivors include a son John F. Grau and his wife Cynthia of Little Falls; grandchildren, Rebecca Leggieri, Joseph Palowich, Jr., and Eric Grau; great grandchildren, Olivia, Gabriel, Caleb and Eli, a sister-in-law, Rose Grau and several nieces and nephews.
