Obituary of Marion Senft

Mrs. Marion Senft, age 94 of 69 Burch St., Little Falls and for the last 6 years a resident at Valley Health Services, Herkimer entered into eternal rest on Saturday morning, December 7, 2002 at that facility. Mrs. Senft was born on January 4, 1908 in Little Falls a daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Burr) Riemann. She was a lifelong Little Falls resident and received her education in Little Falls Schools. She married John Senft on November 19, 1927 at the Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls. Mr. Senft predeceased her on December 14, 1974. She was last employed by the former Felt Shoe Company in Little Falls and was a lifelong member of the Christ Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Marilyn Pierce and son in law, Gary Pierce who was very special to Marion, a son, John Senft of West Virginia, a very cherished grandson, Gary John Pierce and wife Sheila, a grandson, Jason Senft of West Virginia, and a granddaughter, Jamie Senft of West Virginia, two cherished great grandchildren, Gary John Pierce, Jr., and Jenifer Pierce of Little Falls, a brother in law, Reiny Senft of Little Falls and a sister in law, Betty Senft of Little Falls who were both very close to Marion. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Interment in Mountain View Memorial Gardens, town of Little Falls will be held at the family's convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church.
