Obituary of Theresa J. Price

Theresa Jean Price, age 57, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, March 3, 2023, in the privacy and comfort of her home. Born on June 15, 1965 in Ilion, Theresa was the daughter of the late John and Nancy (Bunce) Price. She was raised and educated locally. Throughout the years, Theresa worked at Walmart, Carpet Brothers and lastly for Dollar General in Ilion. She was feisty woman with a generous heart who would give you the shirt off her back. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved being in the company of her family. Nothing made Theresa happier than the simple joys of life. She could often be found with a Stewarts coffee in one hand and scratch-off lottery tickets in the other. She loved playing bingo and listening to Blake Shelton on the radio and she was an animal lover, especially with her own fur babies, Bella, Snowball and Willow. She is survived by her daughters, Monica Price of Minnesota and Veronica and Marco Cortez of Virginia; her brother, John Price, Jr. of Bainbridge, NY; her sister, Cynthia Price of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Nancy and Jason Browne, Braidin Huffman, Zachary Price and Kristina Smith, Cedric Glover and Arianna Glover; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her sisters, Susanne Chambers, Dawn Price and Kim Miller; and also by the love of her life, Harold Rappa, who passed away on October 13, 2022. Friends and relatives are invited to attend Theresa’s visitation on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 2:00PM – 4:00PM at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Town of Frankfort, Ilion, NY (315) 894-8000. A prayer service will be held at 4:00PM at the conclusion of calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea, Ciaccia and Applegate Funeral Directors.
