Obituary of Linda Faboskay

STRATFORD – We are truly sorry to share the news that Linda Faboskay, born September 26, 1950, in Cobleskill, New York, passed away on Thursday morning, August 4, 2022, at the age of 71, at St. Mary’s Healthcare, in Amsterdam, New York. Linda had been being treated for lung cancer and other serious medical conditions. She passed away peacefully with the love and support of her Lexington family at her side during her final hours. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Lawyer) Bouck, Sr. Linda joined the Lexington family in 2002 as part of the Continuing Day Treatment Program, at 465 North Perry Street. Linda developed many wonderful friendships there and was liked by everyone. In March, of 2013, she moved to her home at Stratford IRA and shortly thereafter started attending a program, at Oppenheim Day Hab. Linda was such a wonderful addition to both Stratford and ODH. She had many friends and was very helpful. She would at times assist the receptionist at the desk and helped to deliver mail. Linda loved her home deeply and when given the opportunity to move closer to her family she clearly said she wanted to stay in her home, in Stratford. Linda enjoyed going shopping, especially for clothes and new shoes. She had her own style for creating outfits and liked to mix colors and patterns. Everyone who Linda knew loved her dearly as she did them. Linda was not afraid to share her feelings of how she cared for her Lexington family even doing so in her final hours. Linda was truly an incredible person who brought joy to the lives of all who knew her. She was beautiful inside and out and a smile that could melt your heart all while her eyes twinkled. Our heartfelt thanks to all of you who have been so supportive to Linda over the years, including the past several months since her cancer diagnosis, but most especially to those with her in the past few days staying at her side reassuring her of your care and love for her. You are all truly such special people each and every day, but that extra at Linda’s final hours shows what a truly beautiful family we have. Linda was deeply appreciative of all of you. May this very beautiful lady now, rest in peace. A Christian Burial Service for Linda Faboskay shall be held, on Wednesday morning, August 10, 2022, at 10:00 AM, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, 124 Fort Road, in Schoharie, New York. Her arrangements have been handled through the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street, in St. Johnsville, New York, attentively directed by Harry J. Enea, Jr., Kevin E. Enea and Martin L.
