Obituary of William M. Brinski

LITTLE FALLS – Mr. William M. Brinski, 69, of Amsterdam, New York, passed away on Friday morning, June 10, 2022, at Albany Medical Center. A native of Little Falls, NY, he was the husband of Charlene Short Brinski, who passed away on September 21, 2017 and the son of John Brinski and Frances Rusin Brinski, both deceased. He attended West Canada Valley School, MVCC and obtained his bachelor’s degree at the University of Buffalo. He was a retired Estimator with Buckner Steele, Graham, North Carolina. He was a member of the Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons, Amsterdam #84. Survivors include two daughters, Katherine Burdick and her husband, Steven, of Utica, NY and Sarah Brinski and companion, Mark Mihevc, of Little Falls, NY; two step daughters, Becky Burkdorf, of Whitesboro, NY and Kelly Foust and her husband, Tom, of Roswell, GA; five grandchildren, Maggie Burdick, Sean Burdick, Hanna Burdick, Reid Burkdorf and Bradley Foust; and three siblings, Barbara Blanchard and her husband, Tom, Donald Brinski and his wife, Diane and Ronald Brinski and his wife, Holly. His family will be receiving relatives and friends on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, in Little Falls, NY. The following arrangements have been made for his funeral in Little Falls: There will be a service at the funeral home chapel at West Monroe Street, on Thursday, at 12:00 NOON, with Rev. Joseph Famulare, Pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Prior the service, the Amsterdam Lodge Ritualistic Service will take place, at 10:30 a.m. and the family will greet guests from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the 12:00 NOON service. Interment will then take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. All are welcome to join us. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
