Obituary of Joseph J. Williamson, Jr.

LITTLE FALLS – Joseph J. Williamson, Jr., age 53, of E. Monroe St., Little Falls, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, April 28, 2022, of natural causes, after a courageous battle with cancer, with his family by his side. He was born on April 2, 1969, in Utica, the son of Joseph J. Williamson, Sr. and Linda (Chaires) Williamson. He attended Sauquoit schools. Joe was employed as a cab driver, at Affordable Cab Co., Frankfort, NY. He collected Nascar memorabilia and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Surviving family members include his fiancée, Connie Panko; his father, Joseph Williamson, Sr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Oriskany, NY; his daughter, Lindsay Snell and son, Patrick Snell, of Clinton; 3 stepchildren, Joshua Wilson, Crystalene Wilson and Madonna Wilson; 4 grandchildren, Julianna, Sonny, Gabriel and Greyson; his sisters, Melissa Herringshaw and her wife, Sonya, of Utica and Katy; his brother, Brian Williamson and his wife, Wendy, of Myrtle Beach, SC; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and his favorite canine companions, Teddy Bear and Carmela. He was predeceased by his mother, Linda; his stepfather, John Williamson; and his sister, Lucy Williamson.
