Obituary of Bertha Anderson

Bertha Johnson Anderson, age 62, of Little Falls New York passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022, at Little Falls Hospital. She was born on April 22, 1959, in the borough of Manhattan, New York. She was the youngest of three children born to Alice and James Johnson. She attended August Martin High School in Queens NY. Bertha enjoyed spending time at her comfortable home in Little Falls, with her significant other Clifford Davis and his brother Clark Davis. Back in the day Bertha worked at the Deli Department of Fairway Supermarket, in Douglaston Queens. She was once part owner of a shipping company and drove a tractor trailer for a while. Bertha was known to be a beautiful person with a beautiful smile. She always made you laugh, but she didn’t have a problem setting you straight. She was preceeded in death by both her parents and her siblings Herman and May. Bertha is survived by her nephews Glenn Steward of Queens NY, Clifton Spann of Queens NY, Donny Spann of Brooklyn NY, Tyrone Steward of Jacksonville FL, her niece Valerie Steward and Aunt Rose Johnson of Bennettsville SC. She also leaves to cherish her memory a heap of cousins and friends. Her funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 28, 2022, where we will have a small service at the Enea Family Funeral Home, in Little Falls, then Bertha will be taken to her final resting place at St Mary’s Cemetery, in the town of Herkimer.
