Obituary of Domenica Viscomi

Domenica "Minnie" Viscomi passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in St. Charles, Missouri, at the age of 100. She is survived by her son, Gregory Viscomi and wife Diane; grandchildren, Thomas (Christine) Viscomi, Tedra (Jason) Courtis, and Ryan (Jennifer) Viscomi; along with five great-grandchildren, Max Courtis, Ellie Courtis, Makena Viscomi, Mason Viscomi, and Rocco Viscomi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Viscomi; her parents, Tommaso and Mariangela Ceneviva; her sister, Gloria Maiola; and brother, Frank Ceneviva. Minnie was born on October 22, 1921 and spent most of her life in Herkimer, NY where she grew up, and held several jobs before meeting and marrying her husband, Ernie, in 1945. Minnie was an active member of St. Anthony’s Church, St. Francis DePaola Society, along with the NY Telephone Pioneers Auxiliary. She moved to Missouri in 2013 to be closer to Gregg and Diane and her grandchildren. Minnie was known for her zest of life. She enjoyed bingo, traveling, and going to the casino. Most of all she was devoted to God and her family. Minnie’s final resting place will be in Calvary Cemetery in Herkimer, next to her beloved husband Ernie.
