Obituary of Virginia J. Emrich

HERKIMER – Virginia J. Emrich, age 87, of Sherwood Acres Dr., Herkimer, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at home. Services were postponed until now, at the request of the family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s larger facility, located at 4309 Acme Rd. (old Main St.), between Ilion and Frankfort. If you are planning on attending the calling hours, please wear a mask to help protect the family and others. Thank you for your understanding. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Blessed Sacrament Church, E. Main St., Mohawk, NY, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be next to her husband, Gene, in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer, immediately following the Funeral Services.
