Obituary of Marianne Douglas

LITTLE FALLS – Mrs. Marianne Douglas, age 87, of Little Falls, New York, passed away on November 4, 2021. Born on December 3, 1933, in St. Johnsville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Howard Keller and Lillian (Mancini). Following her graduation from St. Johnsville High School, Marianne continued her education at Cobleskill College. It was there that she earned her degree. After college, she worked in White Plains, New York and also worked at the W.C.A. for a number of years. She worked for many years as a Teacher’s Aide, at Little Falls High School. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish and the Rosary Society. Marianne is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Gordon W. Douglas, Sr.; her daughters, Diane Tooley and her husband, Scott and Leanne Roopra and her husband, Luke; her sons, Gordon Douglas and his wife, Cathy, John Douglas and his wife, Crese and Dan Douglas and his wife, Felisa; along with 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
