Obituary of Kim M. Miller

ILION – Kim M. (Price) Miller, age 55, of Ilion, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 26, 2018, at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, New Hartford, NY.

She was born on March 26, 1962, in Ilion, the daughter of John Price and Nancy (Bunce) Price and attended Frankfort schools.  On October 24, 1991, she was married to Gordon “Gordy” Miller, in Ilion.  At one time, Kim was a paver equipment operator at Tilcon Paving Co., Westbrook, Maine.  She enjoyed Demo Derbys and won the Demo Derby at the Herkimer County Fair in 2005.  Kim also enjoyed playing poker online.

Surviving family members include her husband, Gordon “Gordy” Miller; her daughter, Desirae “B.A.” Miller and her fiancé, Joe Judson, of Ilion, NY; her son, Lynn “Pup” Miller and his wife, Holly, of Syracuse; her granddaughter, Harmony “Peanut” Miller; her stepdaughter, Maria Miller and her stepson, Gordon Miller, both of CA; her sisters, Cindy Price, of Rome, NY, Theresa Price and her friend, Bob LaPoint, of Frankfort and Dawn Price, of Herkimer; her brother, John Price and his wife, Kariann, of Sidney, NY; her aunt, Pauline Bunce; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; her stepson, Joseph Miller; and her sister, Suzanne Chambers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018, from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m., at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home’s larger location, at 4309 Acme Rd. (old Main St.) between Ilion and Frankfort.

Kim’s Celebration of Life service will be held immediately following the visitation at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2018, at the funeral home.
