Obituary of Sharon Bouck

MOHAWK - Sharon Bouck, age 73, of Mohawk, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in the comfort of her home. Sharon was born on May 3, 1943, in Ilion, NY, daughter of the late Thomas and Emma (Stewart) Skinion. She was raised and educated in Mohawk and graduated from Mohawk High School. On May 18, 1963, she married Howard Bouck at the First Methodist Church. The couple shared in over 33 years of marriage, until Howard’s passing on January 9, 1997. Sharon devoted her life to her family and friends. She was a member of the Mohawk American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Mohawk Senior Citizens Club. She was an avid shopper and adored her animals. As a woman of faith, she was a member of the Mohawk Reformed Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Greg Cobb of Frankfort; her son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Carol Bouck of Mohawk; and her five grandchildren, Travis and Vincenza Cobb, Evan Cobb and Brianna Urich, Miranda Bouck, Ashley Bouck, and Andrew Bouck. She also leaves her Uncle Pat and Aunt Betty Ferucci, along with several cousins. Friends and relatives are invited to attend Sharon’s visitation on Friday morning, October 28, 2016 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM at the Enea and Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road (Town of Frankfort), Ilion, NY (315)894-8000. A memorial service will commence at 11:00AM immediately upon the conclusion of visitation. Burial will take place in Mohawk Cemetery at the convenience of the family. All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Harry J. and Kevin E. Enea, and Martin L. Ciaccia, funeral directors of the Enea and Ciaccia Family Funeral Home.
